You should not choose this treatment method if you have skin cancer or a sun allergy, if you are taking photo-sensitising medication or if you are pregnant.

Instead of a single pulse, Valde Lux technology delivers multiple pulses per second. In other words, a large treatment area is targeted by a very high energy output. Since the handset glides over the skin in a single movement, there is no need for time-consuming back and forth motions. This reduces the pure treatment time by more than a half - hardly affecting the top layer of the skin (epidermis).

Do not expose the area to be treated to intense sunlight for a few days before and after treatment. And shave the relevant area of your skin the day before your appointment.

The length of each session depends on the area being treated. As a rule of thumb: Compared to traditional permanent hair removal methods, Valde Lux technology reduces the time required by over a half. Whereas it used to take about an hour to depilate the thighs and lower legs, treating the same area with Valde Lux technology requires around 30 minutes.

To remove hair permanently, you need an average of eight to ten sessions with Valde Lux technology - until enough hair follicles are destroyed to ensure lasting results. Statistics and personal experience show that the number of treatments required may vary. Factors such as genetics, age, hormone fluctuations, medication or weight also play a role. You should take a break of around four to eight weeks between treatments. Your next session may vary depending on the targeted area of your body and/or face. But, you will already see a major difference after the very first treatment and a noticeable reduction in regrowth week after week.

We apply a cooling aloe vera oil to your clean shaven skin so that the laser handset can glide more easily. The flashes emitted by the handset briefly heat the hair follicles. This inactivates their ability to produce new roots. Treatment with this novel technology is virtually painfree.
